Kazakh Shooters Clinch Five Gold Medals at Asian Shotgun Cup 2024
Almaty, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan’s shooting team delivered an outstanding performance at the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024, held in the Almaty region, securing five gold medals, according to NHC, citing Olympic.kz.
Assem Orynbay led the Kazakh team’s success by winning the gold medal in the Women’s Skeet event. Eduard Yeshchenko followed suit, claiming victory in the Men’s Skeet finals. The duo further demonstrated their skill by winning gold in the Skeet Mixed Team Event.
In the Skeet Team finals, Assem Orynbay, Zoya Kravchenko, and Adel Sadakbayeva triumphed, earning another gold for Kazakhstan. The men’s team, consisting of David Pochivalov, Eduard Yeshchenko, and Iliya Penkov, also topped the podium, bringing home gold in the team event.
In addition to his team achievements, David Pochivalov secured a bronze medal in the Men’s Individual Skeet, further adding to Kazakhstan’s impressive medal haul at the championship.
