Kazakhstan, Qatar sign agreement on military cooperation
Doha, The Gulf Observer: A military delegation of Kazakhstan led by Minister of Defense, Coloner-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, arrived in Doha at the invitation of Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar, according to media reports.
As the press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry informed, the sides discussed the promising areas of military cooperation.
Ruslan Zhaksylykov pointed out the importance of the meeting, which, in his words, will become a new milestone in the history of cooperation of the two countries’ defense ministries.
The meeting ended with signing of the Agreement on Military Cooperation between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Qatar.
This year, Kazakhstan and Qatar marked the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.
