King Mohammed VI Approves 11 International Agreements, Advancing Morocco’s Global and Regional Leadership

Rabat, The Gulf Observer: At yesterday’s ministerial council chaired by King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the Moroccan government approved 11 major international agreements, bolstering diplomatic relations across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

- 8 agreements with African nations, 2 with Asian countries, and 1 with a European partner.
- 6 of the agreements were signed in Laâyoune and Dakhla, reinforcing international recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara.
- Agreements span sectors such as judicial cooperation, customs, higher education, scientific research, energy, and transport.

Morocco will now serve as the permanent headquarters of the African Union of the Blind (AFUB)—a major milestone affirming its continental leadership.
