Kyrgyz Deputy FM Meets EU Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Bishkek, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Meder Abakirov, held a meeting with the Head of the EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Marilyn Josefson, to discuss current issues and upcoming bilateral events.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Abakirov emphasized the significance of the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union, reaffirming Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Josefson acknowledged Kyrgyzstan’s pivotal role in the EU’s relations with Central Asia and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of ties between the two sides.

Both parties reaffirmed their intention to maintain an ongoing dialogue and enhance collaborative efforts across various domains.
