Iranian President Vows Support for Private Sector at “Pioneers of Progress” Expo

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to removing barriers faced by the private sector, pledging to facilitate growth and foster international trade.
During a visit to the “Pioneers of Progress” Expo in Tehran on Saturday, President Pezeshkian engaged directly with private-sector manufacturers, listening to their challenges and outlining the government’s initiatives to support them.
“The government is dedicated to creating the conditions for more extensive private-sector activities and to addressing obstacles to international trade and economic cooperation,” President Pezeshkian stated.
He further emphasized the importance of empowering domestic problem-solvers, saying, “We are actively seeking individuals within the country who can address challenges, and we will eliminate any issues or barriers created by government policies.”
The national exhibition, hosted at Imam Khomeini Hussainia, highlights the achievements of Iran’s private sector and serves as a platform for dialogue between government officials and business leaders. The event, which began last week, underscores the critical role of private enterprise in driving economic progress and innovation in the country.
President Pezeshkian’s remarks reflect the administration’s broader focus on bolstering the private sector as a key pillar of Iran’s economic strategy amidst ongoing efforts to enhance trade and cooperation on a global scale.
