Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation in Security and Migration
Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: In a move to bolster cooperation on security and migration, Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Interior Nurbek Abdiyev met with his Turkish counterpart, Deputy Minister Münir Karaloğlu, along with Istanbul’s governor and leaders from Türkiye’s Department of Internal Affairs and Migration Service.
The discussions centered on enhancing security collaboration, managing migration issues, and addressing challenges faced by Kyrgyz citizens residing in Türkiye. Deputy Minister Abdiyev introduced representatives from Kyrgyzstan’s Interior Ministry to Turkish counterparts, marking a significant step towards deepened partnership and cooperation.
Following these talks, Abdiyev met with newly appointed officials, joined by Kyrgyz Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbayev and embassy staff, underscoring Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens abroad and strengthening diplomatic ties with Turkey.
