Maju Motors Wins Best Sales Growth Award at BYD Asia Pacific Dealer Conference
Shenzhen, The Gulf Observer: Maju Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of BYD cars in Brunei, has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Best Sales Growth Award 2024 at the BYD Asia Pacific 2025 Dealer Conference, held from March 18 to 25 in Shenzhen, China.
In 2024, Maju Motors recorded sales of 89 BYD units, with the figure surging to 228 units in the first quarter of 2025. This significant growth underscores the company’s success in expanding the BYD brand within the Bruneian market. The award was received by Maju Motors Executive Director Stanley Lim, Managing Director Chan Key Hong, and their team.
Expressing gratitude, Managing Director Chan Key Hong thanked BYD China for entrusting Maju Motors as one of the first distributors in the country to introduce Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) models, alongside future models such as the Shark 6 and Seal 5.
“BYD is packed with technology that no other car brand can beat or provide,” he stated.
He further highlighted the company’s commitment to bringing advanced green technology to Brunei, emphasizing its economic and environmental benefits.
“With such technology, it will not only save money on a daily basis but will also create a better future for our next generation,” he added.
