New Sea Route Between Burgas and Istanbul to Launch on June 24, 2025

Burgas, The Gulf Observer: A new maritime connection between Burgas and Istanbul is set to commence operations on June 24, 2025, under the management of the Turkish company İstanbul Deniz Otobüsleri (İDO), as confirmed by İDO Director Murat Orhan in a statement to Haberbg.net.
The service, which will run regularly during the summer season, is scheduled to offer three weekly trips. Departures from Burgas are set for 8:00 a.m., while return trips from Istanbul will depart at 3:00 p.m.
This initiative is expected to attract significant interest from both tourists and business travelers, enhancing regional connectivity and promoting short-term tourism. It is particularly anticipated to appeal to visitors from Bulgaria’s Black Sea Coast planning brief two- to three-day excursions to explore the cultural and historical attractions of Istanbul.
