Oman and UAE Discuss Collaborative Opportunities in Higher Education
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) engaged in discussions to explore avenues of cooperation in higher education, scientific research, innovation, and vocational training. The meeting, held during the visit of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation of Oman, to the UAE, focused on enhancing the educational system and exchanging best practices in education and research.
In the two-day visit, Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi met with Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, UAE Minister of Education, to discuss potential collaborations and joint activities between the two nations. Among the key topics deliberated was the establishment of the Oman-UAE Knowledge Dialogue Forum, which aims to align higher education institutions in both countries for mutual benefit.
