Oman, Canada Reaffirm Commitment to Expanding Bilateral Cooperation and Global Dialogue

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi received Scott Gilmore, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada for Foreign, Defense, and Security Policy, during a meeting held in Muscat.

During the discussions, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening relations between the Oman and Canada, with a focus on expanding cooperation across economic and commercial sectors, as well as enhancing collaboration in education, academic exchange, and diplomatic engagement.

The meeting also addressed a range of regional and international developments. The two parties emphasized the importance of intensifying consultations and coordinated efforts, alongside strengthening international and multilateral mechanisms to effectively respond to emerging global challenges.

Both sides underscored the vital role of dialogue and diplomacy in promoting stability, peaceful coexistence, and constructive cooperation, while maintaining balance in international relations.
