Oman, Netherlands Hold 31st Round of Political Consultations in Muscat

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The thirty-first round of political consultation sessions between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held at the Foreign Ministry on Monday.

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Dutch side was led by Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary-General of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between Oman and the Netherlands and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, particularly in energy, logistics, and education. The two parties affirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthen ties and expand collaboration across multiple sectors.

The consultations also covered a range of regional and international issues of common interest, reflecting the shared vision of both nations on promoting dialogue and international cooperation.

The session was attended by Maartje Peters, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Oman, along with a number of senior officials from both countries.
