Oman Reaffirms Support for Syria in Meeting with Transitional Leader

Damascus, The Gulf Observer: Ahmed Al Sharaa, Leader of the Syrian Transitional Administration, met with Sheikh Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman, at the People’s Palace in Damascus.

During the meeting, Sheikh Al Hinai delivered greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Syrian leadership and people, reaffirming the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to promoting strong, fraternal relations between the two nations and their peoples.

Sheikh Al Hinai further emphasized Oman’s firm stance in respecting Syria’s sovereignty, highlighting the importance of supporting the will of the Syrian people and their national choices. He also reiterated Oman’s support for international and regional efforts aimed at advancing the aspirations of the Syrian people.

The meeting underscored the ongoing solidarity and diplomatic cooperation between Oman and Syria, with both sides expressing a shared commitment to fostering further bilateral ties.
