OTS Human Resources Agencies Convene Fifth Meeting in Khankendi
Khankendi, The Gulf Observer: The Fifth Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Khankendi, focusing on emerging challenges and opportunities in human resources development.
The meeting addressed the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on human resource development, new approaches to human resource management, and the development of human capital in line with contemporary challenges. Participants also discussed expanding the exchange of experience and expertise among OTS member states.
Addressing the meeting, Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Azerbaijan’s State Examination Center, expressed confidence that the discussions would create new opportunities for innovative and fair governance capable of responding to modern challenges. She also noted that enhanced cooperation would further strengthen the institutional foundations of long-term partnership among OTS member states.
Nuru Guliyev, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, and Gunduz Karimov, Head of the Department of Legislation and Legal Policy of the Presidential Administration, also addressed the event. They underscored the importance of strengthening the digital skills of civil servants and enhancing cooperation among OTS member states in this area.
Bilal Şentürk, Director General of Personnel and Principles of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, emphasized the need to develop cooperation in human resources across the Turkic world in a more systematic and results-oriented manner.
Discussions also covered the professional development of civil servants, improvement of their digital competencies, adherence to ethical principles, and strengthening institutional preparedness to respond effectively to technological transformation.
The meeting subsequently continued with bilateral discussions among the participating delegations.
