President Aliyev Awards Individuals for Contributions to Azerbaijani Diaspora
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order awarding a group of individuals in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
Under the presidential order, Jahangir Novruzov was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Masud Ashina was conferred the “Shohrat” (Glory) Order, while Ziya Zakir Ajar received the “Dostlug” (Friendship) Order.
In addition, Akif Alaferdov, Khalil Kalantar, Sevinj Karimova, Farida Panahova, Bakhtiyar Sirajov, and Khadija Zeynalova were awarded the “Taraggi” (Progress) Medal.
The awards were presented in recognition of their effective efforts to strengthen friendship among peoples and to promote the development and unity of the Azerbaijani diaspora worldwide.
