President Mirziyoyev Visits Imam Bukhari Mausoleum

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: On June 15, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari in Samarkand, marking the occasion on the eve of the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha.

During his visit, surahs from the Koran and duas were recited, underscoring the spiritual significance of the event. President Mirziyoyev engaged in meaningful discussions with religious leaders, focusing on the importance of fostering science and education, and instilling a sense of patriotism and respect for national values among the youth.

The visit also highlighted the ongoing renovation of the Imam Bukhari complex. President Mirziyoyev inspected the progress of the construction and finishing work, ensuring that the project is advancing as planned.

Following the completion of his visit to Samarkand, President Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent, reaffirming his commitment to both the spiritual and educational growth of the nation.
