President Pezeshkian Calls for Unity and Constructive Criticism to Navigate National Challenges

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of cohesion, mutual support, and effective criticism in guiding Iran through current difficulties and laying the foundation for lasting reforms.
Speaking at the 65th general assembly of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) on Wednesday, Pezeshkian lauded the contributions of former CBI Governor Mohammadreza Farzin and highlighted that genuine solidarity, coupled with constructive criticism, could facilitate overcoming the country’s challenges.
The President acknowledged that assuming the role of the new CBI governor in the present environment is “extremely difficult and complex,” noting that the incoming chief would inevitably face significant pressure and scrutiny. He stressed that such criticism should be constructive and aimed at improving governance rather than undermining it.
Pezeshkian also drew attention to external pressures on Iran, warning that internal divisions could further intensify existing strains. He underscored the importance of recognizing both the nation’s strengths and achievements alongside its shortcomings, emphasizing that reinforcing unity and focusing on positive performance are crucial to overcoming crises and mounting challenges.
