President Pezeshkian Praises National Unity and Military Strength in Defeating Israeli Aggression

President Pezeshkian

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has credited the country’s recent victory over Israeli aggression to the combined strength of the Armed Forces and the unity of the Iranian people. His remarks came during an unannounced visit to the Oil Ministry on Sunday, where he also praised ministry staff for their contributions during the conflict.

“If the people had not stood united and present alongside the Armed Forces and their missiles, which shattered the Israeli regime’s false prestige, victory would not have been possible,” President Pezeshkian stated.

The president’s comments referred to the recent war triggered by what he called an unprovoked act of aggression by Israel on June 13. The attack involved the targeted assassination of Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists, as well as air raids on civilian areas. Iran’s response included a series of retaliatory missile strikes, which ultimately led to Tel Aviv requesting a ceasefire.

Pezeshkian praised the Oil Ministry’s workforce for their resilience and strategic efforts during the conflict. “It was you, along with other segments of the people, who understood the situation and wisely foiled the enemy’s plot to plunge the country into chaos,” he said, highlighting the ministry’s role in maintaining national energy supplies and thwarting enemy disruption attempts.

Stressing the importance of energy management, the president emphasized the need for real-time data and improved coordination between agencies to ensure efficient production and consumption of energy resources.

On foreign policy, President Pezeshkian reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to diplomacy and regional peace. “War benefits no one and has no true victor,” he said. “Guided by our administration’s national unity platform, we seek to advance peace, stability, and calm through internal cohesion and friendly relations with neighbors and other nations.”

He concluded with a firm message: “We have never bullied anyone and never will, but we will never submit to bullying, either.”

The visit and statements underscore the government’s focus on national resilience, regional diplomacy, and cohesive governance in the face of external threats.
