President Pezeshkian Reaffirms Iran’s Commitment to Peace and Regional Stability

Kermanshah, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated Iran’s unwavering commitment to peace, national unity, and constructive relations with neighboring countries. Speaking at a gathering with business leaders and investors in Kermanshah Province on Thursday morning, the president emphasized the importance of diplomacy and regional cooperation.

During his address, President Pezeshkian paid tribute to the “martyrs of service,” honoring those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. His remarks came amid ongoing regional tensions and recent hostile rhetoric from former U.S. President Donald Trump, reportedly made during a visit to Saudi Arabia.

“We seek peace, not war. They are the warmongers,” Pezeshkian declared, denouncing external provocations and reaffirming Iran’s diplomatic stance. He stressed that the Islamic Republic seeks stability and fraternal relations with its neighbors, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. “We seek brotherhood and equality,” he added.

As part of his official visit to Kermanshah Province in western Iran, President Pezeshkian also met with local entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the region’s economic development. He inaugurated four significant projects spanning the industrial, infrastructural, and agricultural sectors, underscoring his administration’s focus on regional investment and inclusive growth.

The president’s remarks and engagements reflect his broader policy vision of fostering internal cohesion and building a peaceful, cooperative environment across the region.
