President Pezeshkian Urges Global Unity for Peace, Stronger Ties and Action on Gaza

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed the importance of cooperation, solidarity, and synergy in achieving peace, stability, security, and prosperity for all nations, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to expanding friendly relations and constructive engagement with countries worldwide.
The president made the remarks on Sunday while receiving the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors from Ethiopia, Estonia, Djibouti, Laos, Cambodia, Burundi, Latvia, Myanmar, and Nepal during a formal ceremony in Tehran.
Pezeshkian wished the ambassadors success in fulfilling their missions and achieving their objectives. He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran stands ready to strengthen ties with these countries across political, economic, trade, cultural, scientific, and technological fields, grounded in mutual respect and shared interests.
Turning to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Pezeshkian condemned the ongoing and escalating crimes committed by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people. He urged all nations, particularly Islamic countries, to intensify efforts to halt the atrocities, lift the blockade, and ensure the delivery of unrestricted humanitarian aid to the innocent civilians of Gaza.
“The killing of innocent people and depriving them of food, water, and medicine under the pretext of self-defense is an inhumane catastrophe,” he said. “An even greater tragedy is that these crimes are being committed before the eyes of those who claim to be champions of human rights, democracy, and freedom.”
The ambassadors conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from their respective heads of state to President Pezeshkian and the Iranian people. They also expressed their determination to strengthen friendly ties and deepen constructive bilateral cooperation with Iran.
