President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Holds High-Level Talks with Mongolian President

Ulaanbaatar, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held official talks on Monday with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh as part of his state visit to Mongolia, according to Turkmenistan’s state news agency.
During the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov expressed his sincere gratitude to President Khurelsukh for the official invitation and the warm hospitality extended to the Turkmen delegation. He also conveyed greetings and best wishes from the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
President Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening and expanding cooperation with Mongolia across various spheres, including political and diplomatic dialogue, trade and economic relations, and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
Highlighting the significance of the visit, the Turkmen leader emphasized that it is intended to give renewed momentum to bilateral relations. He expressed confidence that the objectives outlined during the talks would be successfully achieved through joint efforts and mutual understanding.
The state visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a number of intergovernmental and interagency agreements aimed at reinforcing the legal and institutional foundation for cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the official program, a Turkmen-Mongolian business forum is being held to facilitate commercial engagement, along with an exhibition showcasing traditional Turkmen carpets and decorative arts. A joint cultural event is also scheduled, further underlining the commitment of both nations to fostering deeper people-to-people ties and cultural exchange.
