President Tokayev Congratulates Aliya Yussupova on Reelection as President of Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Aliya Yussupova on her reelection as the President of the Gymnastics Federation of Kazakhstan, according to the Akorda press service. The two leaders engaged in a discussion on the prospects for developing gymnastics in the country.

During the meeting, the Head of State was briefed on the Federation’s activities and its future plans. Aliya Yussupova presented several proposals addressing key issues in the sport, emphasizing the need for comprehensive efforts to engage children in gymnastics from an early age.

President Tokayev stressed the importance of close collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Sport to ensure a holistic approach to improving both infrastructure and coach training, which are essential for the growth of gymnastics in Kazakhstan.

On December 19, Kazinform reported that Yussupova had been re-elected for a new four-year term as the head of the Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation.
