President Xi Emphasizes Ethnic Unity During Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Visit

Yinchuan, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, underscored the importance of ethnic unity during his inspection of northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Wednesday.

During his visit to a multiethnic residential community in Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia, President Xi expressed his satisfaction at seeing residents living harmoniously. “Ethnic unity is very important,” Xi stated. “The 56 ethnic groups unite together to forge the community of the Chinese nation. The Chinese nation is a big family.”

President Xi also called for collective efforts to advance Chinese modernization and achieve national rejuvenation.

At a service center in a community in Jinfeng District, Xi was briefed on how community services facilitate residents’ daily lives and cultural activities. He engaged in conversations with community workers and residents, emphasizing the critical role of communities in serving the people.

Highlighting the need to strengthen primary-level Party organizations, Xi stressed the importance of maintaining a stable team of dedicated community workers. He encouraged communities to continually summarize their experiences and explore new methods to provide better services to residents.

President Xi’s visit to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region underscores his commitment to promoting ethnic unity and enhancing community services as vital components of China’s broader goals of modernization and national rejuvenation.
