President Xi Jinping Calls for High-Quality Development in Hubei Province

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on Hubei Province to accelerate its role in the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and to establish itself as a strategic fulcrum for the rise of central China. During an inspection tour in the province from Monday to Wednesday, Xi emphasized Hubei’s pivotal role in advancing Chinese modernization and contributing to national development goals.

As general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi underscored the importance of leveraging Hubei’s economic strengths to enhance regional integration and sustainable development along the Yangtze River Economic Belt. His visit reflects the Chinese government’s focus on promoting balanced economic growth and fostering the central region’s role in China’s broader modernization agenda.

Xi’s remarks align with China’s strategic objectives to boost regional economies through targeted development in key areas. The Yangtze River Economic Belt, spanning 11 provinces and municipalities, plays a critical role in national economic development, resource distribution, and environmental sustainability.

In his address, Xi encouraged Hubei to pursue high-quality development projects and to actively contribute to China’s goals for innovation, green growth, and sustainable urbanization.
