Qatar, France discuss International Cooperation in Afghanistan
Doha, The Gulf Observer: Assistant Foreign Minister H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met yesterday with representative of the French Embassy to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H E Jean-Marin Schuh, and Ambassador of France to Qatar H E Jean-Baptiste Faivre.
During the meeting, they reviewed developments in Afghanistan, the rights of women and girls in education, and the strengthening of the role of Afghan civil society.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance international cooperation on the situation in Afghanistan and find a joint vision of cooperation between Qatar and France in a number of fields.
