Qatari search and rescue team pull out survivors in Gaziantep
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Qatari search and rescue team managed to pull out two survivors from the rubble of a collapsed building in Gaziantep, southern Turkiye.
The Turkish embassy in Doha said in a Tweet that the Qatari team managed to rescue a 12-year-old boy, who was stuck for long hours under the rubble, in Nordag, Gaziantep.
The Qatari International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) arrived in Turkey on Tuesday coinciding with the arrival of the first flights of the air bridge allocated by Qatar to support Turkiye after the deadly earthquake.
The group has started managing the coordination cell for the operations of search and rescue teams for international organizations in the Turkish province of Gaziantep.
Meanwhile, Qatar TV urged everyone to participate in a relief campaign tomorrow evening to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria under the title “Support and Help” (Sanad and Uon).
