Riyadh to Host UNESCO Global Forum on AI Ethics 2026 in September

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Riyadh is set to host the fourth edition of the UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence 2026 from September 14 to 17, bringing together international experts, policymakers and technology leaders to discuss the ethical governance of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
The forum will be organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in partnership with UNESCO, in coordination with the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and in cooperation with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE).
The four-day event will bring together technology leaders, policymakers, executives from major global companies and representatives of international organizations to exchange expertise and examine key challenges and opportunities related to responsible AI development.
The forum is expected to strengthen international dialogue on responsible AI governance, promote the exchange of best practices and explore ways to harness artificial intelligence to support sustainable development and societal prosperity.
