Saudi FM, US Secretary of State Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Ties

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks with United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts to enhance regional security and stability.
During their meeting in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, the two ministers reviewed the historical and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries.
On the same day, Prince Faisal also met with Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Jim Risch. The meeting focused on the close cooperation between the two friendly nations, as well as discussions on key regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meetings were attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar and Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Alyahya.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both sides to continued dialogue and coordination on regional and global challenges.
