Damascus, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met with Ahmed Al-Sharaa, leader of the new Syrian administration, at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Thursday.

During the meeting, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to Al-Sharaa and the Syrian people. In response, Al-Sharaa extended his gratitude and well wishes to the Kingdom’s leadership, highlighting the significance of the bilateral relationship.

Focus on Stability and Reconstruction

The discussions centered on fostering security, stability, and unity in Syria. Both sides stressed the urgent need for concerted efforts to advance political, humanitarian, and economic support for the country.
