Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has affirmed that Saudi Vision 2030 continues to maintain strong development momentum and deliver significant achievements despite global economic and political challenges over the past decade.

Chairing a session of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Crown Prince said the progress of Vision 2030 has been driven by strategic planning and disciplined fiscal policies, underpinned by flexibility and a forward-looking approach to emerging challenges and opportunities.

The remarks came as the council reviewed the Vision’s achievements on Monday, marking the transition into its third and final implementation phase in 2026.

Prince Mohammed noted that the final phase, extending through 2030, represents the peak stage of implementation for national programmes and strategies, with transformation tools reaching their highest levels of readiness. He emphasized that the Vision remains on track to achieve its objectives by consolidating economic, social and national transformation gains while accelerating delivery across key sectors.

He further highlighted that Vision 2030, launched under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has brought about a qualitative shift in the Kingdom’s development journey. The transformation spans multiple domains, including the economy, infrastructure, services, logistics and social development.

The Crown Prince stressed that the final five-year phase will sustain focus on long-term strategic goals while adapting implementation mechanisms to meet evolving national priorities, positioning Saudi Arabia among the world’s leading economies.

Underscoring the human dimension of the Vision, he said its most important investment remains the development of Saudi citizens through enhanced training, improved performance, increased efficiency and strengthened global competitiveness.

Prince Mohammed also directed government entities to intensify efforts, capitalize on opportunities and ensure delivery of initiatives that serve the nation, its citizens and the broader economy.

He commended the achievements of recent years, noting that they have contributed to comprehensive and sustainable national development, placing Saudi citizens at the center of progress while advancing the Kingdom’s ambition for global leadership across multiple sectors.
