Over 21,000 Participants Registered for World Urban Forum 13 in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: More than 21,000 participants have registered to attend the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, according to Eldar Rasulov, Media Relations Manager at the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operations Company.

Speaking during a media briefing session held as part of the forum preparations, Rasulov said that the level of international interest in the event reflects its growing global significance in addressing urban development challenges.

He further noted that the number of accredited media representatives has surpassed 800, with local journalists comprising more than 70 percent of the total, highlighting strong domestic engagement alongside international coverage.

The World Urban Forum 13 is expected to bring together policymakers, urban planners, experts, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss sustainable urbanization, inclusive cities, and innovative solutions for future urban development.
