Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Lukashenko Discuss Strengthening UAE-Belarus Relations
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, held a meeting to discuss bilateral relations and explore avenues to enhance cooperation in ways that serve mutual interests and foster development and prosperity in both nations.
The meeting took place during President Lukashenko’s working visit to the UAE, which spans several days.
During their discussions, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed President Lukashenko and expressed his appreciation for the Belarusian leader’s commitment to expanding relations between the UAE and Belarus. His Highness emphasized the shared goal of broadening collaboration across various sectors.
The two leaders also exchanged perspectives on a range of regional and international issues of common interest.
President Lukashenko conveyed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm hospitality extended to him during his visit. He reaffirmed Belarus’s dedication to strengthening ties with the UAE and expanding shared interests to promote growth and prosperity for both nations’ peoples.
President Lukashenko further highlighted the continuous development of relations between the UAE and Belarus, underscoring the significance of joint efforts to enhance cooperation across various fields.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and Mohamed Al Abbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills.
