Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Receives Call from German President on Regional Crisis

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from German President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, during which the two leaders discussed the latest regional developments amid the escalating military situation and its serious implications for regional and international security and stability.

During the conversation, President Steinmeier reaffirmed Germany’s solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in all measures taken to safeguard its security, stability, territorial integrity, and the safety of its people. He also strongly condemned the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, describing them as a clear violation of state sovereignty and international law.

The German President expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the UAE’s attention to the safety and well-being of German nationals residing in the country, as well as the efforts made to facilitate procedures for them during the current situation.

Both leaders emphasized that containing the escalation remains a priority, stressing the importance of serious dialogue and diplomatic engagement to resolve outstanding issues in the Middle East. They underlined the need for collective efforts to prevent further crises and to preserve regional and international peace, security, and stability.
