Sultan Haitham and President Lukashenko Hold Expanded Talks to Boost Oman–Belarus Cooperation

Minsk, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Alexander Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus held an expanded session of official talks today, attended by senior officials from both countries.
The discussions focused on exploring avenues to strengthen economic and investment cooperation, as well as exchanging views on issues of mutual interest aimed at advancing the prosperity and development of the peoples of Oman and Belarus.
From the Omani side, the session was attended by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Hamoud bin Salim Al Tuwaih, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation and Non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.
Representing the Belarusian side were Viktor Lukashenko, son of the President and President of the Olympic Committee; Viktor Karankevich, Deputy Prime Minister; Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Alexander Khodjaev, Minister of Health; Yuri Gorlov, Minister of Agriculture and Food; Andrei Kuznetsov, Minister of Industry; and Dimitri Pantos, Minister of State for Military Industries.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both nations to deepen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation across key sectors, including trade, industry, health, and defense.
