Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, President Erdogan Hold Bilateral Talks at Al Alam Palace

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye held a session of talks at Al Alam Palace on Wednesday.
At the outset of the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan extended a warm welcome to President Erdogan and his accompanying delegation. In response, President Erdogan expressed his sincere gratitude to His Majesty for the generous hospitality and warm reception.
The discussions focused on the historical ties between Oman and Turkiye, as well as the ongoing cooperation and partnership in various fields. The two leaders explored ways to further strengthen bilateral relations to serve the interests of the peoples of both nations. In addition, the session addressed a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The Omani delegation included HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Oufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Marshadi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohamed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Saif bin Rashid Al Jahwari, Ambassador of Oman to Turkiye.
The Turkish delegation included Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, son of the President; Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister; Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources; Yasar Guler, Minister of Defence; Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology; Omer Bolat, Minister of Trade; Mehmet Hakimoğlu, Ambassador of Turkiye to Oman; and other senior officials.
The meeting reflects the strong bilateral ties and continued collaboration between Oman and Turkiye, highlighting both nations’ commitment to enhancing mutual interests and regional stability.
