Xi Jinping Receives Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Reaffirms UAE–China Strategic Partnership

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, received H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, during his official visit to China, underscoring the deepening ties between the two nations.

President Xi warmly welcomed the Crown Prince and praised the strength of the longstanding relationship between China and the United Arab Emirates, highlighting its continued expansion across key sectors. During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with best wishes for China’s continued progress and prosperity.

In response, President Xi extended his sincere greetings to the UAE leadership, expressing his hopes for the country’s sustained development and success. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership, with particular emphasis on expanding economic and investment cooperation to achieve balanced and sustainable growth.

The discussions also addressed regional and international developments, stressing the importance of promoting stability, enhancing international coordination to tackle shared challenges, and supporting peaceful resolutions to conflicts in the interest of global peace and security.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Maryam Eid AlMheiri, and Khaled Mohammed Jadid Al-Shehhi, reflecting the high-level nature of the engagement.
