Tajik Embassy in Pakistan Celebrates Tajik Youth Day and World Football Day

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: football match among staff members of the diplomatic mission was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Pakistan on May 23 to mark Tajik Youth Day and World Football Day.

On the occasion, Yusuf Sharifzoda, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, delivered a congratulatory address and extended his greetings to participants celebrating the two occasions.

In his remarks, the ambassador emphasized that youth represent the driving force of society and the future of the state, adding that supporting young people remains one of the key priorities of Tajikistan’s state policy.

He noted that under the leadership of Emomali Rahmon, special attention is being devoted to youth development, patriotic education, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the advancement of sports across the country.

Highlighting the significance of World Football Day, Ambassador Sharifzoda stated that the international community is proudly celebrating an initiative proposed by Tajikistan and supported by the United Nations.

He added that the initiative reflects Tajikistan’s active role in promoting the values of sports, peace, and international solidarity.
