Vitebsk, The Gulf Observer: The Third Uzbekistan–Belarus Women’s Business Forum is scheduled to take place in the city of Vitebsk from August 28 to 29, 2025. The high-level event is jointly initiated by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Tanzila Narbayeva, and Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, H.E. Natalia Kochanova.

In preparation for the forum, a working group meeting was recently held under the leadership of Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic, Mr. Sergei Aleinik, and Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism of the Oliy Majlis, Mr. Alisher Azamkhodjayev. The participants reviewed organizational matters in detail and reaffirmed their shared commitment to furthering bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also underlined the importance of preserving strong inter-parliamentary relations and promoting dialogue through effective and inclusive platforms. Both sides emphasized the need to empower women through enhanced business collaboration and mutual support.

Following the notable success of the previous two editions, the upcoming forum is expected to mark a significant step in elevating mutually beneficial partnerships between the two nations.

The event will host several panel discussions featuring women entrepreneurs from both Uzbekistan and Belarus, with a focus on diverse economic sectors. It will serve as a platform for participants to exchange expertise, showcase innovative projects, and broaden trade-economic as well as cultural-humanitarian ties.

Agreements are anticipated to be signed between representatives of the business communities and women entrepreneurs from both countries. These accords aim to deepen cooperation, facilitate the execution of joint projects, and support promising initiatives in key economic areas.

The forum underscores the shared vision of Uzbekistan and Belarus in promoting inclusive economic growth, gender equality in entrepreneurship, and sustainable international collaboration.
