“Today’s Kazakhstan is an influential state in the international arena. It can be said with confidence that this is a good achievement for our country. World experts and politicians see Kazakhstan as a country with a solid economic development in Central Asia,” stated the Kazakh Head of State.

President Tokayev stressed that the current standing is a commendable achievement but underscored the importance of not becoming complacent. “We should continue working on increasing the well-being of the population. It’s our goal,” he affirmed.

He acknowledged that reaching the status of a developed country requires substantial efforts and commitment. “For Kazakhstan to be among the developed countries, it is necessary to go to great lengths. It’s not just a slogan, but a task we face. It is a very important path for us,” he declared. Aligning actions with the principles of forming a “Just Kazakhstan” is imperative for the nation’s progress.

President Tokayev emphasized the need for political and economic reforms, urging the government to play a new, important role in the country’s development. “It is essential to reconsider the tasks we set before ourselves. The Kazakh President highlighted the importance of the government’s role in stimulating and diversifying the economy for the benefit of the people. “It is necessary to adapt to new realities. We need to face new challenges. New approaches are to be developed; new reform-orientated decisions are to be taken,” he stated.

President Tokayev concluded by underscoring the exceptional importance and strategic nature of the tasks ahead. “In general, I think it is necessary to give a new impetus to the work of the government, the public expects it too,” he affirmed.
