Turkmenistan and Spain Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: A diplomatic meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, H.E. A. Movlamov, and the Ambassador-designate of Spain to Pakistan, Carlos Aragón.
During the meeting, Ambassador Movlamov congratulated his Spanish counterpart on his appointment and wished him success in his professional endeavors in Pakistan.
The discussions focused on prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Spain in trade, transit, energy, and other areas of mutual interest. Ambassador-designate Aragón briefed on Spain’s experience in combating desertification caused by climate change and highlighted national initiatives in the sustainable management of natural resources.
The meeting also emphasized the potential and economic viability of trade routes passing through Afghanistan and Pakistan, underlining regional connectivity as a key area of collaboration.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their intention to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and maintain regular dialogue through the Diplomatic Corps in Pakistan.
