Turkmenistan takes part in Tourism Expo Osaka 2023
Osaka, The Gulf Observer: Turkmen travel companies actively participated in the Tourism Expo Osaka 2023, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports. The event took place from October 26 to 29 in Osaka, Japan.
During the exhibition, tourism enterprises, including Aşgabat syýahat, Aziýanyň merjeni, Aýan, Dag syýahat, Durdynyýaz, and Halkara syýahat showcased their offerings and opportunities to visitors attending the exhibition.
The exhibition highlighted Turkmenistan’s accomplishments in national tourism, showcasing various tourist destinations and services available within the industry. Foreign tourism enterprises and attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Turkmen traditions and national holidays.
Atadurdy Bayramov, Turkmenistan’s ambassador to Japan, participated in the exhibition and emphasized that developing the tourism sector is a crucial focus of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy.
On October 26 this year, Ambassador Atadurdy Bayramov, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, met with Hirofumi Yoshimura, the Governor of Osaka Prefecture. The discussions primarily revolved around Turkmenistan’s participation in the upcoming World Expo 2025, scheduled to take place in Osaka. The Turkmen side also expressed readiness to arrange a visit for the Governor of Osaka Prefecture to Turkmenistan at a mutually convenient time.
It is worth noting that the international tourism exhibition, Tourism Expo Japan 2023, is organized annually by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
