Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: In a diplomatic meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan, Shadurdy Meredov, and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, deliberated on coordinating collaborative events to honor the 300th anniversary of the birth of the eminent Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Fragi. The Turkmen Foreign Ministry’s press service reports that the discussions centered on comprehensive plans for the year 2024 to mark this significant milestone, emphasizing the importance of a widespread commemoration of Magtymguly’s legacy as a pivotal figure in Turkmen culture.

Apart from the commemorative events, the parties engaged in a detailed review of strategies to enhance cooperation in the realms of education and science.
