UAE and Jordan Leaders Discuss Fraternal Relations and Middle East Peace Efforts
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation today with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The call centered on the longstanding and robust fraternal ties between the UAE and Jordan, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation and collaboration in ways that serve the shared interests of both nations.
During the conversation, King Abdullah II extended heartfelt congratulations to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on the occasion of the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad, wishing the UAE and its people continued progress and prosperity.
The two leaders also addressed a range of regional and international issues, focusing on the evolving situation in the Middle East. Both leaders underscored the necessity of intensifying efforts to prevent further escalation of conflict in the region, with a shared commitment to safeguarding regional security and stability. They emphasized the need for a clear path forward in achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace, anchored in the two-state solution.
