UAE, Belgium Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Maxime Prévot, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, during an official meeting held Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah warmly welcomed Minister Prévot, reaffirming the UAE’s keenness to strengthen bilateral ties with Belgium and advance cooperation across a broad range of fields.
The two sides discussed ways to further enhance joint cooperation, particularly in economic, trade, and investment sectors, in line with the development priorities of both nations. They also addressed opportunities to expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah underscored the UAE’s commitment to fostering constructive and sustainable partnerships with Belgium, aimed at promoting shared prosperity and supporting the development goals of both countries.
In addition to bilateral matters, the ministers exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and discussed several key global issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Mohamed Al Sahlawi, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union.
