UAE President Appointed Director-General for the General Authority of Sports

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a Federal Decree appointing His Excellency Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri as the Director-General for the General Authority of Sports.

With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, His Excellency Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has held various leadership positions, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to excellence. Notably, Al Hajeri served as the Director-General of the Zoo & Aquarium Public Institution and has held significant roles within the banking sector.

In addition to his extensive professional background, Al Hajeri is actively involved in the sports community, contributing his leadership to various councils and committees. He is a respected member of esteemed bodies such as the Sports Coordination Council, the UAE Handball Federation (UAEHF), the UAE Volleyball Federation, and the UAE Football Association Temporary Committee (FATC).

Al Hajeri’s dedication to both administrative and sports-related responsibilities is underscored by his academic achievements. He holds an MBA in Executive Business Administration, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies.
