UAE President, Greek Defence Minister Discuss Strategic Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday received Nikos Dendias, Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, to discuss bilateral cooperation and pressing regional developments.
During the meeting, Dendias conveyed the greetings of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece, along with his wishes for the UAE’s continued security, stability, and prosperity.
The talks focused on strengthening ties between the UAE and Greece, particularly in the field of defence cooperation, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between the two countries.
Both sides also reviewed the evolving regional situation amid ongoing military escalation and its implications for regional and international security. Discussions highlighted concerns over continued Iranian aggression targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including attacks on civilians and vital infrastructure.
Dendias reiterated Greece’s strong condemnation of such actions, emphasizing that they constitute a violation of national sovereignty and international law, and pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
