UAE President, Malaysian PM Discuss Regional Escalation, Stress Dialogue and Stability

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday received a telephone call from Malaysian Prime Minister His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim to discuss the latest regional developments and their implications for international security, stability, and the global economy.
During the call, the two leaders reviewed the ongoing escalation in the region, including continued attacks attributed to Iran targeting the UAE and other countries. They noted that such actions, particularly those affecting civilians, civilian infrastructure, and vital facilities, constitute a violation of national sovereignty and international law, and pose a serious threat to regional and global stability.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reiterated Malaysia’s strong condemnation of these attacks and commended the UAE’s effective handling of the situation. He praised the measures taken by the UAE leadership to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, residents, and visitors.
Both leaders emphasized the urgent need to contain the escalation and highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving outstanding issues. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to preserving regional peace, security, and stability through constructive engagement and cooperation.
