UAE, Russian Presidents Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation under the two countries’ strategic partnership.
During the call, the two leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing UAE-Russia relations in areas of mutual interest and enhancing cooperation to support the interests of both countries and their peoples.
The discussions also covered a number of regional and international issues of common concern, with particular attention to developments in the Middle East.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Putin underscored the importance of continued efforts to promote security, stability and peace across the region, emphasizing the need for approaches that serve the interests and well-being of all countries and peoples in the Middle East.
