Uzbek Ambassador to Qatar and Qatar’s Prosecutor General Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan’s Ambassador, Ashraf Khodjayev, engaged in discussions with Qatar’s Prosecutor General, Isa bin Saad al-Jafari al-Nuaimi, highlighting the growing friendship and fraternal ties between the heads of state of both nations.
The Qatari side emphasized the significance of further developing and expanding relations across all spheres, with a specific focus on enhancing collaboration in the field of the prosecutor’s office.
The successful visit of Uzbekistan’s delegation, led by Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yoldoshev, to Doha from January 21-25, 2024, was underscored during the conversation. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes of this visit.
The Qatari Prosecutor General extended gratitude to the Uzbek side for the high-level organization of the “High International Anti-Corruption Award,” established by the Emir of Qatar on December 19, 2023, in Tashkent.
Concluding the meeting, the parties mutually agreed to organize reciprocal visits of representatives from the prosecutor’s offices in 2024. The exchange of experiences and the joint organization of events were also highlighted as essential steps towards further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
