Uzbekistan and Mongolia Hold First Joint Economic Commission Meeting

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The first joint meeting of the Uzbekistan-Mongolia Economic Commission has taken place, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Intergovernmental Commission of both countries, along with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, U. Yusupov. Participants engaged in discussions on enhancing collaboration in key sectors, including agriculture, mining, geology, food and light industries, transport, veterinary science, and livestock farming. Several prospective projects were also presented during the session.

According to the Ministry, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojayev and Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan signed the protocol of the first joint commission meeting. The document outlines a framework to foster trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
