Nukus, The Gulf Observer: The Uzbekistan – China Business Forum took place at the Oq Qush complex in Nukus, bringing together a high-level delegation from the People’s Republic of China, including representatives from the business community, heads of relevant organizations, and entrepreneurs.

In his opening remarks, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orinbayev, underscored the strong friendship and close partnership established between the leaders of Uzbekistan and China. He highlighted the favorable investment conditions in the Aral Sea region and the various incentives provided to support business development.

Chinese business representatives emphasized the rapid expansion of economic cooperation between the two nations in recent years, particularly in the areas of investment and industrial collaboration. They also praised Uzbekistan’s business-friendly environment and its vast economic potential.

The forum served as a vital platform for discussing investment opportunities and fostering business connections, leading to the signing of key agreements. Additionally, an exhibition featuring products from local entrepreneurs was held as part of the event, alongside discussions on promising economic sectors, B2B meetings, and presentations on investment prospects in the region.
